It's easy to export a web page to a PDF file with the Apple Safari web browser on the Mac. When you save a web page to PDF, you can share it so that the information looks identical to how it appears on the website. The PDF format is separate from operating systems and hardware. All PDF files look the same on a computer, tablet, phone, or another device. PDFs are also an alternative to printing the web page.

Instructions in this article apply to Safari 5 and later for Mac and Windows.
