How to Screenshot on iPhone 12
Taking a screenshot on the iPhone 12 is a great way to hold onto a meaningful message, a great joke, or another important moment. While there are third-party apps that take screenshots, you don't need those. The ability to take a screenshot on the iPhone 12 is built into iOS. Here's what you need to do:
Get whatever you want a screenshot of on your iPhone. This could be a text message, a webpage, or something in an app.
Press the Side button and the Volume up button at the same time.
When the screen flashes and you hear a camera noise, that means you took a screenshot. A thumbnail of the screenshot appears in the lower-left corner.
To save the screenshot and not do anything else with it, swipe it off the left edge of the screen. If you want to edit or share the screenshot, tap the thumbnail.

Where to Find Your iPhone 12 Screenshot
Once you take a screenshot on iPhone 12, the screenshot is saved to a special folder in your phone's pre-installed Photos app. To view a screenshot, follow these steps:
Tap the Photos app.
If Albums isn't already selected in the bottom bar, tap it.
Scroll down and tap Screenshots. This is a collection of every screenshot you've taken.
Your screenshots are also in your Camera Roll album, mixed in with other photos.
How to Share iPhone 12 Screenshots
Once you've got a screenshot saved on your iPhone 12, you can share it the same way you would any other photo: via text, email, on social media, etc. You can also delete it or sync it to your computer. Follow these steps to share a screenshot:
In the Photos app, find the screenshot in the Camera Roll or the Screenshots album. Then tap the screenshot to open it.
Tap the Share button (the box with the arrow coming out of it).
Tap the app you want to use to share the screenshot. In this example, we copied the photo so we can paste it into another app.
If you tapped an app in the second row it will open. Complete sharing using the steps that are specific to that app. In our case, we'll paste into a new Tweet.
